As the second-largest city in the country and surrounded by 167 islands, Cebu is at once a tourist destination and an industrial center. Our strategic partners’ factories are in the First Industrial Zone (MEPZ1) on Mactan Island.

The Philippines has summer and the rainy season.
Short-sleeves are the common clothing in this country, which has an average temperature of 25 to 35 degrees Celsius. Factory workers stay in an employee dorm that comes with meal and housekeeping services as well as basic furniture, electrical appliances, and the Internet.
Daily Life and Transportation
The dorm is a 10-minute walk from the closest supermarket, where you can buy groceries and local food. For those who like to shop, it only takes 20 to 30 minutes by bus to get to the larger shopping malls in downtown Cebu, such as SM City or Ayala. You can use the affordable bus services or Grab when going out.
Culture and Holidays
In addition to celebrating Western holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Halloween, and Christmas, the Philippines also has its own holidays, such as the Sinulog Festival.

Aquatic activities: snorkeling, diving, and island hopping. Sports: basketball and marathons. Dance activities: Zumba aerobic dance and cheerleading.
