SCI provided a great opportunity for me to understand the production process and acquire knowledge related to the garment manufacturing industry, and helped me identify my strengths and areas of interest through solid training. My first encounter with SCI was on the day before my 22nd birthday, and that changed everything...Exploration: SCI puts a lot of effort into cultivating talent. In the first stage of training, the company offers solid, comprehensive, topic-driven courses to rapidly increase the employees’ understanding of industry basics, and in the second stage, trainees will work on the front line of production to acquire hands-on experience. They will then be assigned to manage an entire department on their own using the skills acquired from these training sessions.Challenges: To manage one of SCI’s branches in Southeast Asia, where people are friendly and uncomplicated, you will need both knowledge and the ability to communicate and adapt to the environment. In addition to the ability to respond to problems in a logical and rational manner, you will also need to be able to give a calm, well-formulated explanation when questioned. Working abroad not only challenges your professional skills, it also tests your persistence in face of difficulties.Trust: The warmth of your colleagues will support you during every setback, and your endurance will grow stronger with every failure.
